So of course I set out to make them, this time using scrapbook paper.
Instead of pre-cut cards I used some sheets of thin white cardboard. and, of course, bits of scrapbook paper.
First I cut the white cardboard to the size I wanted, and then glued the scrapbook paper on what would be the front of the cards:

The one below is my favorite. It comes from a small collection of Christmas scrapbook paper I bought a couple of years ago:
And I love this one too because of the raised silver highlights:
The cards came out in different sizes because, other than the landscape card, they were made with bits of leftover scrapbook paper I had around, but I don't mind - variety is often a good thing.
Because these cards were made using only materials I already had at home, they counts towards my destashing efforts this year. See below my other destashing projects so far:
