(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - looking for snow

While some people have had already too much snow this year, we had to go search for it.

It doesn't snow in Lisbon, so we headed north to the mountains of Serra da Estrela because the kids were desperate for some snow. 

It had snowed just a bit overnight, and was on its way to melting already when we got there, but the kids still had fun!

They even  built a little snowman:

And I took to opportunity to get some photos of snow, since it's so rare around these parts.

 Ad there were even some flowers in the snow:

I took a lot more pictures during our trip, but I still have to sort through them, so hopefully I'll post them next week.
