(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - falling leaves already?

I know we are still in the middle of summer but the trees lining the streets close to my office don´t seem to have gotten that memo. The result? Fallen leavers carpeting the sidewalks, as if we were heading towards winter already...

Am I the only one finding this odd?
