Scraps of Yarn June Crochet Along - part 2 is finished!

Just a quick update to let you know that I've already finished part 2 of the June mystery crochet along!

And a day early to boot!

Of course this was helped by the fact that I had a few days off work last week, which helped me moving ahead with a lot of projects...

In case you missed it, check here for part 1 that I completed last week!

Here are the mini squares...

... then the add-ons to the small squares made on part 1...

...and the whole of part 2:

Some of the squares look slightly wonky and this is due to the fact that I'm not using exactly the same type of yarn in each row (it's just yarn scraps, so I'm using what I have). Hopefully once assembled they will be OK.

This month we are creating a mystery blanket. If you want to crochet along too, check out part one of the instructions here, and part two as well. I can't wait for part 3, which will be posted tomorrow!

Enjoy,

  1. One of these days I'm going to have enough scraps of yarn in the same weight that I'll be able to do something gorgeous like this!

    1. Ah, I which all the scraps were i the same weight. They're not, really, that's why the squares are not perfectly square and the corners are curled. But it's a scraps of yarn challenge, so I'm using the scraps I have. I'm sure all will match in the end. Fingers crossed!
