Hello and welcome! This week I'm been mostly busy with my Etsy shop, but I wanted to quickly share here my first crochet project of 2026:
The pattern was an adaptation of the Color-Block Blouse Pattern from Crochet Everything.
It's very easy to crochet, just two (long) rectangles of crochet sewn together to create the front and the back. The original pattern uses a v-stitch, which means it's fairly quick to make. But when I finished it I felt I needed to add some detail at the bottom and the "sleeves", so I crocheted a few rows of single crochets all around:
I debated doing the same to the neck opening but in the end decided against it:

Overall, I'm very happy with the result. It's too cold and rainy around here for a proper modelling of this crochet top, but come Spring I'll take some more pictures to add here.
