How to DIY a Wedding Binder + Printables

I'm a planner to the core. I hate to be (or just feel) unprepared for any sort of event. So, while I'm not expecting to have to plan a wedding anytime soon, when I was offered the chance to share here on the blog some ideas to help those that are or will be in the near future, planning a wedding - well, it made total sense to me.

The wedding planning process has a lot of moving parts. With a tool for organization and method to the madness, you’ll be celebrating your big day in no time at all.

How to DIY a Wedding Binder + Printables

So, to help you stay organized, Shutterfly created a DIY wedding binder tutorial. Plus, there are three beautiful themes to choose from: a beautiful black and white floral design, a geometrical pattern in shades of pink and gold and a modern leafy green alternative.

This binder will be a place to hold your to-do lists, vendor contracts and even inspiration for your dream wedding. To get started, you’ll need simple supplies and the printables provided below.

Supplies
  • 8.5x11 binder — the printables work best in this size.
  • Printables
  • Tab stickers
  • Sticker letters
  • Sticky notes
  • Pens
  • Clear pocket sheets
  • Three-hole puncher

If needed, you can add to or subtract pages along the way. Pocket sleeves are also helpful to stick contracts, wedding invites, save the dates, dress fabric, samples, florals, or other miscellaneous items to refer to as inspiration. There’s even a section to add additional notes, such as when you're working with a wedding coordinator.

Whatever theme you choose, DIY your wedding binder to your unique personality, style, and you as a couple. Planning your wedding should be fun, not stressful. Stay organized and remember the special time with these printables then enjoy with the one you love most.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. And also, do not forget about contests. They can also be thematic. Most importantly, remember that for a fun party, the determining factor is a fun and light atmosphere. Interesting contests will help to familiarize guests with each other, as well as allow plenty of fun.
