Hello, and welcome. Today I'm going to show you how to make magic wand bookmarks, which work great as party favors or just to embellish your gift packages.
To create the magic wand bookmarks you need two star shapes for each wand (I cut mine out of felt but you can use other materials too, like fabric, EVA foam, or even cardboard) and wooden sticks. The ones I used are slightly longer and thinner than ice cream sticks and can be found at craft stores. If you can't find them, you can always use straws instead.
All you need to to is glue the star shapes together with the stick in between the two layers (use a good craft glue, to avoid glue marks on the felt and to make sure the sticks are secured in place).
These bookmarks are so easy to make you'll have a whole batch of them finished in no time.
Here's how they look attached to the party favor bags (please excuse the darker pictures, I finished this batch late into the night).
