Simple and easy pear pie

This year we had an overload of pears in our house, both from my grandfather's garden and my in-laws' pear tree, so I had to come up with strategies to use all those fruits.

This pear pie has got to be one of the easiest pies ever. It comes together in next to nothing, it's dairy free and there is no added sugar either.

Here are some of the pears we brought home a couple of weeks ago:

  2. Hi Teresa,
This recipe brings back so many memories of my childhood. My Mother made pear pie during the Fall when our pear tree was full of delicious fresh pears and we loved it. She still makes it unfortunately due to my food allergies I can't eat it. The funny every time throughout all these years I have talked about pear pie no one seemed to have eaten it or heard about it. Congratulations on being featured on Healthy, Happy & Green & Natural blog hop. Have a healthy, happy & blessed day. Pinned and tweeted.

    1. Thank you Marla! I never had food allergies before but after turning 40 I suddenly found I can't seem to eat dairy, sugar and a lot of other things, so I've slowly been adjusting my meals. But it's hard, especially when you have to eat out.
