Summer Reading Charts for Kids - free printable

One of the things I want to do this summer is to encourage my kids (aged almost-10 and almost-7) to read more. We have already selected a few books for them to read (some they will read alone, some probably with my help) and we will be adding some more along the way.

But I don't want them just to read, I want them to understand what they are reading and to have an opinion about each book - whether they liked or disliked, and why.

So I have created a summer reading chart for each of them (a boy and a girl version, of course), and we have agreed that they will fill in the chart as they read the books.

And then I decided to translate each chart into English and share it on the blog.

Here are the two charts:

To download the Summer Reading Charts, just click here. The link will open a zip file where you can find two pdf documents, one with the blue and one with the pink version of the chart.

Use the charts you want, but f you re-post or share on social media, just please leave a link back to this page!

Happy Monday and happy summer!
