A couple of weeks ago I decided to join the Creative Play Challenge. If you haven't heard about it before, you can read about it here, but basically each week we are given a prompt that we can use as as inspiration for our own creative projects.
I have missed a couple of weeks of prompts, but this week we were supposed to play with watercolors and I decided to give it a try. And, to be in season, I picked a fall-ish theme.
Now, I'm not much of a painter and I have zero talent for drawing, so I had to find a way do do something I felt comfortable with and still enjoy the results.
I "stole" my daughter's watercolors for a while and got down to work. Given my limited artistic capabilities, I decided to take the easy route. So...I used my Sizzix to cut a leaf shape out of sticker paper, glued it onto some blank cards and painted over it. When I removed the leaf sticker, this is what I had:
Then I decided to turn my card into a free printable for all of you, so I scanned it and played with the colors a bit more, and I ended up with four alternative designs:
If you want to download these cards, click here. You have one pdf with the four cards together, and then one jpeg file for each of the colors, so you can choose your favorite or just print them all.
Feel free to use these cards as you want, but f you re-post or share on social media, just please leave a link back to this page!
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
