For years after we got married, my husband and I only decorated a small tabletop Christmas tree. Then the kids were born, we finally bought a regular sized tree and we decorated it with a collection of silver and red ornaments.
Now the kids decorate the tree themselves and make their own ornaments too. It's a bit messier, but a lot brighter.
We also set up a Nativity scene every year. Here you can see it. together with the above mentioned table top tree, which still lives.
Most of the figures in this Nativity were inherited from my grandparents and setting them up on December 1st has been a tradition at my house for as long as I remember.
Happy Wednesday,
I love your Nativity scene, we have one that was a gift from my husband's grandmother. It's so much more special when they have been passed on like that and nice to use for tradition. Thanks for sharing this!
