Last week my daughter requested a heart brooch for Valentine's day and I promised I would try to make it over the weekend. After it was done, of course my son wanted one too. Typical. And so the His & Hers Hear Brooches were born:
To make a similar hear brooch, just find a heart shape in the size you want. I went online and printed one off the Internet. Then cut two hearts out of felt and join them together with some stitches around the edge.
Leave a small opening and fill the heart with polyester filling to give it a 3-D effect.
Close the opening, sew or glue a brooch pin the the back and you are good to go.
Then make at least one more, because one is never enough.
Have fun!
These are super cute! Love the idea!
