Mini Halloween notebooks - free printable

This week I got messages from school saying that both my kids needed to make something Halloween themed for a class gift exchange.

For my daughter's 4 year old pre-school class I'm still brainstorming on a fun game to make & print. Since I've once made a summer tic tac toe, I'm thinking a Halloween one would not be that far fetched. But that's still in the drawing board, so to speak.

For my son's second grade class I decided on mini notebooks that the kids can use to write messages, make notes or just draw on. And so here are the Halloween mini notebook printable pages:

To make the notebooks, just download and print the file at the bottom of this post, and then cut the notebook pages, leaving a margin on top as shown below. Print as many copies as you need. In my opinion the notebooks look good with a minimum of 20 pages each, but go with what you prefer.

There are four different designs, which you can use for four separate notebooks or you can mix and match.

Then you just need to bind the pages together. You can use glue, but I found that it was too messy.

You can use staples, though if the notebooks are for children, then please cover them up with a piece of lightweight cardboard to avoid accidents. Maybe I just over react but I'm always afraid children hurt their fingers on the staples if I leave them uncovered. Besides, the cover gives the notebooks a much more "professional" look. See below how it looks front and back and let me know if you have any questions.

And finally, my favorite option - use a binder:

And now, the download: just click this link for the printable pdf file and have fun!

Happy Halloween!
