DIY Play Medicine Bottles

Hello, and welcome back. Some weeks ago I shared here the felt band aids I made for my daughter's pretend play medical set, and today I'm showing you one more item in the set: medicine bottles.

DIY Play Medicine Bottles

Made with small plastic bottles leftover from a bath travel set and felt scraps.

My daughter complained that she didn't have enough medicine to cure her dolls and stuffed animals from whatever ailment they had over the weekend, and, as usual, I took the bait.

I started with these two bottles, which probably would have ended in the recycle bin a long time ago if I didn't consider them so cute. Well, I 'm glad I still had them, as they were just perfect.

I covered each bottle with a piece of felt all around, and then added a cross shape in a contrasting color:

I just made two because I only had two of these bottles, but for now they seem to be enough.

And here they are, together with some of the other items in the set:

  1. Love these! My 4 year old would definitely approve. Isn't it amazing how much medicine toys need?
