Spring crochet bag

Hello, and welcome. today I'm sharing with you my latest crochet project: a spring drawstring bag.

I made this in brown and blue, because I love the contrasting colors, but it was so easy and came together so quickly that I'm probably going to make more in other colors too. 

The basic pattern idea isn't mine, you can find it free here. I made my bag in roughly the same width but added height and completely modified the top to make it a drawstring bag instead of a simple tote (even if I use this as a shopping bag, I prefer all my bags to close in some way).

While I love crocheting, it's been a while since I tackled a large project, so I'm very happy with the result (and looking to make more).
