Summer emoji cake

Remember the "A Day at the Beach" cake I shared last week? That was the one I made for my son's birthday party with friends and family. In addition to that one, I also made another cake for him to celebrate with the few of his school buddies which were not on vacation yet. For that "party" my son wanted an emoji cake - as I wanted something to do with summer as well, we settled for this:

Inspiration came from Pinterest, though I really didn't copy any of those cakes. We found some emoji paper plates at the dollar store, and as they were roughly the same size as the cake, I cut up one to use as the model for the dark glasses and the mouth.

It was a quick cake decor job, but then I didn't have much time to get it done anyway. I did make some cupcakes to go with it, just for those picky kids (like mine) who like cake but don't want it with any kind of filling...

Anyway, the kids loved it, and when they're happy, so am I.

And here's the "A Day at the Beach" cake in case you missed it last week:

Enjoy your summer!

  2. So, so how do you organize a cool party? First of all, the venue should be determined. As a rule, cafes and restaurants are not a good option for driving memories. Today, among youth, nightclubs are relevant, in which you can make noise, dance, and take part in various competitions.
