This was another end of year teacher gift. It's a mini-notebook, for which I created a felt cover and added an initial:
The notebook cover itself was sewn using my 5-minute book cover tutorial, just adjusting the size.
Once it was finished, I added a bit of elastic and a button to keep the notebook closed.
After that, all I had to do was use my Sizzix to cut the letter I wanted, and glue it over the front of the notebook cover.
Overall it was a small and sweet project, and I see a lot more of these in my future, as it's a handmade gift that can be made in next to nothing and still looks great (and custom made).
