Dog notebook and pencil case set

I really want to start sharing something different, but my daughter keeps asking me to make these notebook sets for her friends...at least I have managed to vary the animals...

So, after last week's fox notebook set, this week I bring you the dog notebook set.

Same as last week, I followed the Spring Felt Notebook Cover for the notebook cover and used two pieces of ribbon for the closure.

The dog shape was cut using the Sizzix, with the colors and embellishments chosen by my daughter. 

The pencil case is again a long rectangle of felt folded envelope style, with the sides sewn together and then turned inside out. It closes with a matching button (because felt is great and you can just cut a button hole and be done with it).

One more handmade gift completed and delivered (my daughter took it with her to school today to give it to her friend).
