Every year I make at least a couple of reusable gift bags to store and transport Christmas gifts to our friends and extended family.
This year I was a bit late in getting these ready, but then I went back to my 20-minutes lined tote bag tutorial and I managed to sew two large bags fairy quickly.
I used this simple but cute Christmas fabric that I bought for next to nothing over the summer (when, of course. nobody else is thinking about Christmas fabric...):
For now I think I'm done with the handled bags, but I may need to make some fabric gift bags too, like the ones below:

I love making these bags, all of them, because recipients can reuse then throughout the year. And they make gifts look a lot prettier too!
