The ABC Crafts Series...H is for Homemade!
Welcome to this week's edition of the ABC Crafts Series, where I share some great ideas for homemade gifts.
More than the specific gifts presented here (which are all wonderful by themselves), I want to inspire you to make your own gifts. You'll be giving people useful things, made with love. They will be unique pieces made specifically with the recipient in mind, and they will be treasured just for that. Not to mention that you will also be saving some money in the process!

Use the suggestions below as guidelines (they all come with instructions, materials lists and tutorials) and make them as they are, or brainstorm a little to adapt them to what you really want or need.
I have picked projects that require different crafts, to broaden your perspectives, and which are also easy and quick to make. I often hear people complaining that they are not particularly crafty so they kind of miss these opportunities, but for most of what I'm showing you below you don't need any particular skills. And, if everything else fails, the gifts-in-a jar idea is always a good option...

I hope you enjoyed this little list of ideas for homemade gifts! Next week we'll move on to letter I and share some original craft ideas!
In case you missed previous posts, the ABC Crafts series will be covering one (or more) crafts for each letter of the alphabet during 2016. Each roundup features 5 links, grouped around the major theme. All links posted will be DIY tutorials with clear instructions and/or free patterns, so that everyone can easily replicate them.
I've created a specific page for the series, which will include links to the crafts already covered, and a list of upcoming topics. You can find the page here. If you have suggestions for any of the topics, feel free to leave me a comment or send me an e-mail and I will try to include your ideas as much as possible (with proper credit)!
Have a wonderful weekend!
