Large Crochet Market Bag Pattern

Hello, and welcome! Today I'm back here to share the latest pattern added to my Etsy shop! 

 

This crochet market bag was actually more than a year in the making. I made the first complete bag (the blue one) to test the pattern I had designed (mostly in my head) and then used the two toned one to take the step by step photos and actually write down the pattern and tutorial.  

 

With this pattern you can create a large, sturdy market bag to keep in your purse or your car, ready to be used when needed. The net pattern gives it the flexibility to stretch and accommodate bulkier objects or larger loads, while still being small enough to fold when not in use. 

 

 

 

 

You can make the market bag in just one color or as many colors as you want. Variegated yarn works very well too. 

 

 

 

 

 

When made with the yarn and hook size indicated in the pattern, the bag will have an approximate diameter of 30 cm/12 inches at the top and an approximate height of 50 cm/19.5 inches (70 cm/28 inches when including the handles). 

 

 

 

The pdf pattern has a total of 16 pages and is written in English, using US crochet terms, with photos included to illustrate all steps of the process.
