Cute DIY Bear Keychain

Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing my latest felt keychain!

To make this keychain I used felt, embroidery floss, fabric glue, a golden key ring with a small chain attached and a bit of polyester filling. 

The bear shapes were cut using this Sizzix die:

 

The first thing I did was to embroider the eyes:

And then I started joining the front and back using a blanket stitch (tip: fill with the polyester as you sew; if you wait until the end it will be much harder to push the filling along small spaces like the arms, legs or ears).

The key ring chain was sewn directly over the blanket stitch: 

And here's the finished bear: 

It's a fairly large keychain, but I'm thinking it makes a cute embellishment for a bag or a backpack):
