Home Sweet Home cross stitched sign

Hello, and welcome! Today I had planned to share a craft tutorial, but the weather is terrible around here and it's way too dark for decent photos, so instead I'll just brag about the cross stitch pattern I have finally managed to add to my Etsy Shop. 

I designed the pattern and started cross stitching it about two months ago. The idea was for it to be a Christmas gift for my cousin - and then of course share the pattern in the shop. 

When I finished it, however, my husband suggested we keep it instead and it's now hanging in our hallway (I also tried to take a picture, but it didn't work. I'll wait for a sunny day and then share it later). 

Then Christmas came along and I had no time to dedicate myself to turning the pattern into a digital format (because I originally sketched with my daughter's coloring pencils...) and writing the short tutorial that accompanies it. 

I personally love this color combination, but of course you can always use the same pattern and change the colors according to your preference.
