Hello, and welcome! If you've been visiting a while you already know I love sewing zipper purses. In all shapes and sizes. These fish shaped zipper purses are my latest project.
After the cat zipper purses, which my daughter already stored in her room just in case I had other ideas - such as gifting them to someone else - I decided to change shapes and go with fish instead.
The pattern and tutorial for these felt fish purses is now available at my Etsy shop.
The larger version of the purse works great as a makeup bag or pencil case, whereas the smaller version can be used as a coin pouch or an earbud holder.
And the smaller purse fits inside the larger one, so they can be used as a set.
The keychain and tassel added to the zipper pull are optional but I always love to add some details and I think they look perfect together.
