Sailboat pillow sewing pattern

As I mentioned on another post, after several months on vacation mode I finally re-opened my Etsy shop, though for now I will only be offering digital patterns. 

And the first one is of course the sailboat pillow pattern.

At the time I made two sailboat pillows, one for each of my kids. I loved them so much that I made a pattern and later, because a lot of friends asked about it, actually turned it into a more professional looking pattern and listed in on Etsy).

The sailboats are fairly easy to make and come together pretty quickly and the pattern will get you a pillow about 30 centimeters high by 33 centimeters wide. 

What you need: 

• the pattern - available here
• brown fabric for the boat and mast
• colorful fabric for the sails
• a piece of ribbon or bias tape in a contrasting color (for the flag)
• polyester filling
