Hello, and welcome! Remember the coffee felt coasters I made and shared here a while ago? Well, this time and because soon we will be having cooler evenings and greyer weather, I made tea themed coasters...
To make these coasters I used four different shades of felt, but of course you can use whatever colors you prefer - or have on hand.
Like the coffee coasters, the base is made of two felt squares in different colors...
...just because I love the two-toned effect when you stack them:
The T-E-A letters are simply glued on top:
I chose the colors of the letters on purpose to give them a fall-is vibe, and now I'm already thinking about other themed coasters I can make too, because I'm just loving this idea!

These are very fun! Do you find the felt holds up well to having cold/wet beverages as well? I find felt gets icky sometimes when wet so I'm curious.

Cold works ok. Wet may leak a bit, that's why I make the coasters double when I use thinner felt (apart from the fact they look great in two colors). The ones that are not glued can be easily washed. The ones that are glued like these usually clean up pretty well with just a wet cloth.
