No spend challenge - free printables

Though the holiday season is long over, often our wallets can still feel the burn from some excessive gifting. A lot of people set financial resolutions in the new year only for them to slowly fall out. And even if that's not the case, over spending or spending money in things your have no use for is never a healthy habit.

No spend challenge - free printables

That's why taking on a no-spend challenge for a weekend, week, or even a month is a great way to fix your budget and get back on track with your goals.

And before you freak out that you can't spend any money during that period—a no spend challenge isn't as drastic as it sounds. It doesn't mean you won't be spending anything, but instead that you'll be spending only on necessities like bills, groceries, emergencies, etc. - all the less exciting stuff, it's true, but the things you really need.

But just because you're monitoring your spending, doesn't mean it can't be fun! Credit.com created these helpful (and cute!) no spend printables to make saving easy, including a fun calendar and workbook questions to get you through it.

In this workbook, you'll run through a series of questions on how to prep for the challenge, then from there it all begins!

There's also a wish list included, where you can add any temptations/things you almost bought, so that at the end you can calculate how money you would have saved (and maybe even treat yourself too!).

You will have a calendar to check off each day you achieve your no-spend challenge (with different time limits - a 30 days challenge, a 7 days challenge, etc), and a worksheet on reflection so you can make long term changes! It makes it super easy and motivating to save a little extra, and really pair down what you splurge on. Plus, that's more cash in your savings for something special down the road! And who doesn't love that?

So download your printables today, decide on the challenge you want to take - start small, if you're unsure -and get down to work. And in the end I'm sure you'll realize that you haven't even missed most of the non-essential things you didn't buy.

Have fun, and happy Tuesday!
