5 cool DIY glass projects

The ABC Crafts Series...G is for Glass

Welcome to another edition of the ABC Crafts Series, this week dedicated to glass projects! Though I love felt, after the felt projects overload of the past few weeks, I was ready for a change...

5 cool DIY glass projects

I stayed away from all the projects that involved glass cutting (although there are some pretty amazing things out there) because no matter how many tutorials I see, I'm not convinced that it is that easy to cut glass.

As I don't like to post here projects I wouldn't do myself and glass cutting is not in my near future, those were out. So, what was left is a little collection of projects you can easily recreate and that are perfect either for your home or to give as gifts. Check them out!

Next week I'll be sharing some fun glitter projects, because G is for Glitter too!

In case you missed previous posts, the ABC Crafts series will be covering one (or more) crafts for each letter of the alphabet during 2016. Each roundup features 5 links, grouped around the major theme. All links posted will be DIY tutorials with clear instructions and/or free patterns, so that everyone can easily replicate them.

I've created a specific page for the series, which will include links to the crafts already covered, and a list of upcoming topics. You can find the page here. If you have suggestions for any of the topics, feel free to leave me a comment or send me an e-mail and I will try to include your ideas as much as possible (with proper credit)!

    1. Thank you! As to "Z", there's a running list in the series page, with a list of upcoming posts. For now, "Z" stands for zipper, but we'll see. I've been known for changing or adding to each of the letters as I dedicate myself to actually researching for appropriate projects to share...

  6. These look like some fun projects! I haven't tried glass cutting either, been wanting to but like you I don't think it's as easy as it looks. Love the sea glass bowl and votive candle holders.
