DIY Eva Foam bookmarks/party favors

I must have mentioned it here about a zillion times already, but summer is the busiest time of the year for me in terms of birthdays. And birthdays mean birthday cakes (I have two to show off here already, but I still need to download the photos from my phone), birthday parties and party favors. 

So today I'm sharing the bookmarks I made form my son's birthday and that we added to some goodies bags as party favors.

They are made with Eva foam and were the easiest thing to assemble.

The perfect printables for your next camping trip

 Summer is the perfect season for camping, but if you have picky kids like mine you need all the help you can get to distract them from the ants, the flies, the dust and whatever else they find to complain about. These printables are just perfect to get your kids excited for the next camping trip!

Catching fireflies, roasting gooey marshmallows and telling old family stories are popular night camping activities. Some of these memories will last a lifetime and have minimal expenses attached. And this is what makes camping a great travel option for families - not to mention that it's also lighter on the budget.

DIY bumblebee gift tags

What do you do when you run out of gift tags? You make more, obviously. And of the cuteness overload variety, of course. That's what I did last weekend :)

Spring and summer are our busiest seasons in terms of birthday parties - both of family and friends. With the noticeable exceptions of my father-in-law and my husband (which have fall/winter birthdays) virtually everyone else in the family celebrates on spring and summer.

Hot Air Balloons notebook cover

I promise this is the last notebook cover I'll share here for a while. 2019 has definitely been the year of notebook cover gifts at our house.

But this one has an even longer background story than the others. First, because I'm just in love with this fabric. Seriously, how cute is it? And then, because it's the second gift I made with it for the same person.

Remember the Hot Air Balloons Bag I shared here a year ago? I made it for one of my daughter's classmates and apparently it was a hit. When my daughter was invited again this year for the girl's birthday party, I decided to go through my stash and search for the leftovers from the bag, and luckily I had enough for a matching notebook cover.

Because happy thoughts are what I really need right now. 

 It happens to all of us—we’re having a great day and then one small inconvenience comes along and totally ruins it. It can be hard to stay positive all the time, but the benefits of positive thinking can really turn our day around.

When it comes to working toward a goal or finishing a project, everyone has a different way to stay motivated. Some people like to get moving and take a walk while others prefer to spend some time with themselves and journal. No matter how you like to refresh, listen to what your mind and body need and take the time to recharge.

Bridal shower games and activities - free printables

At least in Portugal, at this time of the year we are right in the middle of wedding season, which means a lot of bridal showers happening too. 

There are lots of moving parts to hosting a bridal shower. Once you’ve selected a venue and date, sent out the invitations, and decided on food, you still need to figure out what to do with your guests when they arrive! 

 

These printables will give you a head start - one item you can scratch off our list, one less thing you'll need to worry about - and at zero cost too!
