Greek yogurt peach ice cream bars

These ice cream bars are very easy to make and turn out delicious.

I didn't manage to take a lot of photos because I made them on an afternoon when we had some friends over and once the ice cream bars were ready to be taken out of the freezer, they disappeared in next to nothing.

Condensed milk lemon pie

This is lemon pie with a twist. It's a cross between a traditional lemon pie and a lemon cheesecake. The crust is made with cookie crumbs like a cheesecake, but then the filling uses condensed mild instead of cream cheese. The result? A completely decadent lemon pie, which my husband says it's the best dessert I ever baked.

Quick and easy recipes are right up my alley - mostly because I usually don't have time for anything else. These chocolate chip cookies are truly the easiest ever. And, according to my daughter, just as delicious (though she may be a bit biased as she loves anything with a hit of chocolate...).

This is just the perfect spring cake. You can mix in other berries too, but our family seems to prefer the simplest version, made with fresh strawberries and delicious all on its own.

Healthy Strawberry Oats Energy Bars

Only 3 ingredients and 71 calories per bar. Could they be any healthier?

I tend to eat a lot of energy bars, I usually take them as snacks to eat at the office or after the gym. Recently I decided to start making my own bars instead of keep buying new packages every weekend.

Chocolate and cookies delish

Hello and welcome. Today I'm back here sharing a totally decadent dessert recipe. Making this kind of desserts is not my norm, as I find having them around just too dangerous for my waistline. In this case, though, I open an exception, because it is just amazing.

Chocolate and cookies delish recipe

This chocolate and cookies dessert is a cross between chocolate mousse and a cookie cake, but with the consistency of neither. It is just spoonful after spoonful of wonderful, gooey chocolate sauce with the cookies in between. And of course you should not miss it.

Healthy chicken burgers

Hello and welcome. today I'm back sharing a new recipe. These chicken burgers are a staple at our house. The kids like them because they're soft and tasty, and since they are made with chicken, they are supposedly healthier than those made with red meat - or so they say....

The top 10 recipes of 2017 on the blog

Hello, and welcome to another 2017 roundup, this time to share the most successful recipes I shared last year on the blog.

It seems strange to be doing this when we're into the second week of January already, but I wanted to do something similar at the end of 2016 and never did, so this time I promised myself that no matter how late I would still get round to publishing this post.

The top 10 recipes of 2017 on the blog

Although I'm by no means a great cook, I always have fun creating things in the kitchen - especially when I'm not pressured to have dinner on the table at a specific time.

So, here are the ten Keeping it Real recipes with the most page views in 2017 (in descending order):

Chicken meatloaf with egg filling

Meatloaf is one of those dishes that I cook on a weekly basis. It's easy to make, the kids love it and I can whip one up on Sunday evening and have enough leftovers for one or two additional meals.

I cook meatloaf with all kinds of meat, but for some reason the chicken meatloaf is a favorite of ours.
